PRESS RELEASE: Aeroflex USA Announces the Introduction of AEROFLEX Breathe-EZ^™ EPDM Duct Insulation

Sweetwater, TN – Aeroflex USA is pleased to introduce AEROFLEX Breathe-EZ^™ fiber-free EPDM closed-cell elastomeric duct insulation to the North American market. Applications include duct liner and wrap for energy conservation, condensation control, and acoustic attenuation.

AEROFLEX Breathe-EZ^™ complies with the International Mechanical Code’s requirement for duct covering and linings contained within building plenums to pass ASTM E84 or UL 723 flame-spread index (< 25) and smoke-developed index (< 50), while also being listed and labeled by a nationally recognized OSHA test lab (NRTL).

AEROFLEX Breathe-EZ^™ passes ASTM E84, UL 723, CAN ULC-S102 up to 2” (50 mm) thick, and is listed on Southwest Research Institute’s (SwRI) Listing, Labeling & Follow-Up Inspections website. Product carton labels will also include SwRI’s approved label.
